We are a collective of passionate filmmakers specializing in documentaries, commercials and branded content. With a range of backgrounds, we have come together through a likeminded view that diversity breeds creativity and solution oriented storytelling.

We believe that filmmaking is a tool to learn from others and our natural world, using the combination of our value-driven approach and innovative imagery. With over a decade of collective experience in the commercial and branded worlds, we understand how to identify and share remarkable stories. Sure, we know the lingo, but ultimately we recognize how important authenticity and vulnerability are in every environment.

Julia Camp

Julia is a freelance filmmaker who has been guided by a deep love for wild places. With a passion for intimate stories and an impressive filmmaking resume, Julia brings a fresh touch to the grueling art of movie magic. Having been raised on an herb farm, Julia understands the concept of starting everything with healthy roots. Her cinematography career has allowed her to share stories from remote places from all over the world.

Rachel Ross

Co-Founder

Rachel is dedicated to crafting authentic stories that uncover human truths. From expeditions to remote parts of the planet to large studio commercials, Rachel utilizes her decade-long production experience to create beautiful imagery. With a client list including Red Bull, Disney+, Mammut, Title 9, and the National Park Service. Her work focuses on documenting women changing narratives in the outdoor space.

Director/Development

We chose our namesake, the Glasswing butterfly for their contradictory nature. While they appear delicate they are capable of carrying up to 40 times their own weight. Nature’s reminder to look beyond our own limited perceptions.
